• Delegated in the design of 22-storey residential tower in the waterside redevelopment area of a regional city centre. The team produced a detailed conceptual design report, calculations to verify the structural viability of the chosen design scheme according to Eurocodes, structural drawings, and an outline of the estimated cost and sustainability plan for a steel frame composite structure, securing a distinct 70% for the overall project.
• Headed various short team projects for the design of structures using software like ANSYS and MIDAS Gen, in compliance with British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Delegated and created reports for various finite element analysis coursework with the aim to develop FEA skills relevant to structural engineering.
• Experienced in numerical analysis, especially non-linear analysis for bolted connections in fire with knowledge of code books like BS 7479 and Eurocode-3 for steel design.
• Investigated the conformability of the levels of vibration with the Eurocodes for the Merchants Footbridge in Manchester as a team activity for the experimental methods module using LabView graphical programming language in conjunction with MATLAB, scoring 65% in the project.
