Outside of work, I’m a keen traveller with a curiosity for different cultures and a mindset that embraces learning and growth.

My most relevant professional experience includes a Public Relations internship at Illumina, where I helped deliver communication strategies that promoted new genomic technologies. I worked with internal teams and media partners to craft stories, coordinate product launches, and manage corporate communications. This strengthened my writing, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
Earlier roles—such as Trading Assistant at Sainsbury’s and volunteer work at Cambridge University Hospitals—developed my customer service, teamwork, and empathy in fast-paced, people-focused settings. Together, these experiences demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and strong communication across scientific and commercial contexts.

I graduated from Lancaster University with a BSc in Biology (with a placement year), earning a 2:1. My studies gave me a strong foundation in research, data analysis, and scientific communication. I learned to think critically, present ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively across projects.
