Through my studies and past work experience, I acquired a deep understanding of financial analysis and planning. I have been working as a Financial Business Analyst and has been monitoring company's revenue and assisted company through a funding round. I am responsible for drafting financial models for the company. I also drafted Carbon Impact Statement for the company, calculating direct and indirect emissions of the company. In my role as Business Consultant, I provided the clientele with customised cost-effective wealth management strategies. Being a Finance and Accounts Associate has made me comfortable with complex financial analysis, advanced excel and account management. I was responsible for monthly reports, reconciliation of accounts. In addition to my usual responsibilities, I took an initiative to prepare a proposal for investing the company's liquid funds which led to 2% increased returns. And lastly, as Business Development Executive, I won employee of the month award multiple times as I closed the greatest number of deals showcasing communication and persuasion skills.

Courses such as Corporate Finance, Statistics for Finance, Investment Management and Sustainable Finance in my masters have given me an edge in understanding the practical and the theoretical side of the financial sector. Throughout my masters, I have strengthened my quantitative acumen and portfolio management skills in addition to my ability to handle clients with utmost efficiency acquired through my work experience will help me shine in this role.

I presented my Dissertation on "An investigation on the relationship between ESG ratings of FTSE 100 companies and their financial performance". I used regression analysis and different statistical tools. with the combination of STATA programming software to get the results. I also carried a project where I constructed a" decarbonised" equity portfolio using Advanced Excel.

I have got the right amalgamation of skill set to excel in this job as the masters have deepened my knowledge and gave me a technical perspective of how things can be done in more efficient way as I used softwares like STATA, advanced Excel for data analysis and platform like Bloomberg for collecting and comparing financial data. I presented a paper on ESG investments to analyse its impact on profitability of stocks to understand how investment world is changing with time. Also, I am planning to undertake CFA exams in near future for my professional development.

It has been always been my dream to work in the finance side of the business. For me, working with big minds and making an impact on the outer world is the ultimate goal which can be achieved by working here.
