The last 5.5 years I have spent working in a fast-paced media company, managing the competing ideals of internal stakeholders on projects for huge global brands, with demanding deadlines. 

I have 3 years previous experience as part of a HR function, working in a Payroll and Benefits team, handling sensitive data and dealing with people at their moments of distress during a period where the company was laying off hundreds of employees.

I have 4 years experience working and volunteering for a company specialising in mental health treatment. I would assess Service Users over the phone and assist in creating a plan for their treatment, overseen by a Counsellor and a Psychiatrist for any complex cases or safeguarding concerns. I developed an excellent knowledge of the landscape of mental health treatment, especially in the field of addictions, including barriers to treatment. A highlight was speaking to a senior figure at Public Health England about my observations and experiences.
