Sophie Allsop

I am an intuitive, hardworking and organised individual with experience across many areas of the Marks and Spencer business.  My experience in data management, insights, and reporting, through written analytical reports and in person presentations to explain data results does stand me in good stead to be a great all-rounder; I have, however, the drive, ability and dedication to specialise in the future.

I am highly-motivated and pride myself on my openness to learning and development. Always keen to learning new skills and knowledge and take on new challenges, I ensure I take time to assist and support my team and individual colleagues where needed. 

Community Researcher

Reporting into the head of Customer Insights in food, I am responsible for the continual engagement of more than 40,000 customers in the M&S online community, as well as working with key stakeholders within the business to provide qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis. 

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain community health and engagement by creating appealing content for all members and keeping abreast of administration tasks.
• Communicating key statistics, such as community health and capabilities to key stakeholders. 
• Advertisement of community and capabilities for research to suppliers.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop bespoke surveys and projects, using clear communication skills to ensure all requirements of the project are met and that there is universal comprehension of the desired outcomes across the team.
• Create insightful and clear reports to effectively communicate results and data to key team members and senior stakeholders, paying close attention to detail to ensure all data is accurate.
• Work collaboratively as a team to ensure all business needs are met and assets maximised, whilst continually developing methods of more efficient working. 
• Experienced in general customer insight, working with external research agencies, customer data, and reporting of data using Microsoft Office applications.

A-Levels in Biology, Physical Education, Information Technology and Finance.
