Megan McHugh

I'm highly positive and enthusiastic with what I do. I'm a final year student at the University of Reading. I love to crochet ( I'm still a beginner but I'm still trying) and I'm looking to further my prospects and skills. As I have undertaken a leadership role within a society at university and working as apart of a team. 

Reading scholar mentor : 2021 - 2024 

• Taking a leadership role with helping to lead yr12’s with in their chosen course 
• Helping to gide year 12's with seeing what university life is like 
• Being a role model towards a younger group 
• Being on call during the residential for when the Yr 12’s are left to do their independent work. 

Cats protection: 2019 - 2020 

• Taking in stock and organising it with in the right category 
• Having the responsibilities with dealing with money
• Relaying information to the manager if there's been a problem
• Working with a team of people around the store and relaying information to them

Charity captain: 2019 - 2020

• Helping to Organise charity events with school  
• Dealing with collecting money for charities 
• Helping to promote different charities during the fundraising week. 

STaR mentor : 2022 - 2024

• Helping to give direction for new students at the University of Reading when asked. 
• Communicating and answering queries via email 
• Helping and volunteering at events to help promote the STaR Mentor programme at the University.
