Sophie Jones

I play a leading role in shaping and guiding the future growth and development of the of the Civil Aviation Authority. A strategic thinker, with a Master’s degree in business administration (Distinction), I pride myself in being a strong team player, and an experienced people focused leader with a passion for transformational change management. I am a strong advocate for Lean management methodologies, simplification and process improvement, with qualifications in strategic leadership, business improvement, service improvement and project management. I am energetic, engaging and determined, with the drive, ambition and personal capacity to succeed.

A member of the People and Culture senior leadership team, I lead and drive multi-faceted functions to deliver the organisational strategy for STEM and skills, early careers, apprenticeships, learning and talent development, leadership development, succession planning and future capabilities.

Additional professional experience includes project management, change management, process improvement, quality management, systems implementation and crisis management. 

Currently studying MSc Strategic Human Resource Management with Cranfield University.
