Sophie Simko Mair

I’m a biomedical science graduate from the University of Brighton looking for a job as a medical lab assistant in an IBMS-approved training laboratory. I’m in search of a lab that will allow me the opportunity to complete my IBMS Registration Training Portfolio following 6 months of full-time work so that I can make full use of a HCPC registration and eventually practice as a biomedical scientist. I began my master’s degree in haematology but decided to put this on hold until I gained my portfolio and laboratory experience. Though my passion lies within blood sciences, I am very open to working within infection and cell science laboratories. I’m a highly motivated, adaptable, professional individual eager to learn new skills in varied roles even under pressure. I display great communication skills and am an active listener who welcomes  constructive criticism.
