I have graduated with a Master’s degree with honours in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester. I am interested in this job position because I want to establish my position in this field. I want to learn and develop alongside an experienced team as well as work on projects with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

I am always interested in optimization operations and I was able to learn in great detail through computer aided process design methods as part of my Masters studies. Process simulation softwares such as Aspen Hysys, Star, Sprint and optimisation softwares such as GAMS has helped me tremendously in my growth with relation to  real life projects. I was able to improve my knowledge on process related standards during my Masters studies.

My work experience includes internships as well as working as a graduate engineer. I was also responsible for checking the quality of the product as well as making sure it is within international regulations and standards. During my internships, I was able to gain hands-on experience within chemical manufacturing and oil refinery production units. This included study, process specification of equipments and conceptual studies during the revamping of existing plants. I was able to understand and learn in great detail about the piping and instrumentation related to oil refining and utilise this concept for my Master’s degree courseworks.

The company provides an exciting agenda and equip an engineer such as myself to promote my views as well as improve my growth alongside a team. I have seen teamwork to be essential and successful during my previous work experiences as an engineer. Collaboration with co-workers is essential in every aspect of the industry and I feel it alsways has an impact in the growing stages of a graduate.  I am a fast learner and an innovative thinker, and I believe I can bring a high level of value to your organization. If selected, I hope to be successful in my position and be a valuable asset to the company.
