Experience
Currently, I work as a Medical Staffing coordinator for General Surgery, Gastro & Urology | Surgery & Critical Care. Within this role, I am responsible for handling medical staffing issues, Resolving Rota/staffing/pay issues, approving leave ensuring staffing is not impacted, managing swaps, recording sickness and arranging locum cover as required. Further, I monitor the Doctors in Training exception reporting system and sending the relevant information to payroll and allocate staff to the appropriate rota which I able to obtain more experience in administration, rota management an electronic systems and communications skills with the medical workforce and the management.
Before entering to administration, I worked as a Healthcare Assistant in the Emergency Department, accumulating
nearly two years of valuable experience within the NHS and the private sector. My time in this role has allowed me to cultivate essential skills in patient care and clinical practice, supported by certifications in care standards, first aid, and a specialist diploma in healthcare. My career has also seen me excel in leadership roles. As a Branch Manager for a private campus, I directed a team of 20 staff members, overseeing the successful completion of students; qualifications. My responsibilities spanned daily operations, customer service, human resources, and business development, culminating in being honoured with the "Best Administrator of the Year" award in 2020.
My customer service expertise, honed over five years as a Customer Service Executive, is another asset I bring to the table. I have a proven track record of efficiently handling inquiries and reservations while leading a reservation team. Additionally, my two years as a Team Leader for 25 crew members further reinforced my leadership skills and commitment to passenger comfort and safety.
To complement my practical experience, I have attained academic qualifications up to level 7 from respected UK institutions as a Master of Business Administration (Global) from University of South Wales and CMI Level - 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice from Charted Management Institute.
