About Stephen Holland:

I have over 30 years’ experience in procurement and materials management in the Oil & Gas engineering sector and physical and commercial operations of a commercial gas pipeline, and previously in the avionics sector. This experience includes Project (Capex) procurement for major North Sea platforms and the Interconnector UK - Belgium 40” High Pressure Gas Pipeline and two Gas Terminals, and a combination of Operational (Opex) activity including Electricity procurement for both Terminals, aggregate over 10 GWhrs pa, and critical annual shut down requirements. 

These areas have involved the complete procurement process from initial tender preparation, vendor selection, negotiating, tender evaluation, order commitment, post contract issue management maintaining delivery schedules to ensure project or operational requirements and order closeout.

These activities have been reported to stake holders on progress and target cost against budget position to ensure timely execution at or under Budget.

  • Successful delivery of materials and upgrades for annual planned maintenance shutdown activities

  • Operation of bespoke control system, to fulfil IUK’s customers’ daily transportation requirements, in accordance with Industry and Company procedures.
  • Operation of Out of Hours Agency for BG, managing and balancing their daily position including offshore platforms, storage and European Trading.
  • Management of the Bacton Agency for NTS Shippers nominations and allocations.
