About Stephen White:

I am a dedicated professional with a strong track record in roles demanding precision and reliability. My diverse background, including positions as a Line Technician, Digital Print Operator, and Print Finisher, has equipped me with valuable skills that align seamlessly with the demands of a Delivery Driver. With a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines, I am well-prepared to excel in the dynamic world of delivery services.

Experience

I am a professional with a diverse and extensive career spanning over a number of decades, marked by a remarkable journey through various industries, each contributing to a rich tapestry of skills, knowledge, and adaptability. Throughout my professional odyssey, I have continually evolved and met challenges head-on, earning a reputation for dedication, reliability, and versatility.

My career commenced in 1977 as a Groundsman for Stevenage Borough Council. In this role, I was entrusted with the task of meticulously maintaining football pitches, cricket grounds, athletics tracks, and school premises. This early experience instilled in me a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in both independent and team-oriented environments.

Building on this foundation, I transitioned into the printing industry, where I held various roles that allowed me to hone my skills and grow as a professional. From a Litho Press Print Operator at Provident Mutual, where I operated two-colour Litho Press, to Self-Employed Litho Print Operator, where I managed a business, handled customer interactions, and ensured timely delivery of projects, my journey in print was characterised by commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

In 1999, I joined Peartree Press (now Berforts Limited) as a Digital Print Operator, operating advanced digital print machines, executing precision tasks such as guillotining, drilling, shrink-wrapping, and overseeing the seamless flow of work through these machines. This role not only expanded my technical expertise but also honed my organizational and problem-solving abilities.

My career took a pivotal turn when I joined Signature Flight Support, Luton, in 2015 as a Line Technician. Here, I was entrusted with the critical responsibility of servicing arriving aircraft. This role demanded unwavering precision and attention to detail, as I offloaded luggage from aircraft, provided essential services, such as toilet and water services, operated steps for larger aircraft, and managed baggage belts. My tenure here was marked by efficiency, safety, and punctuality, as I ensured that aircraft operations ran smoothly.

July 2021 saw me embracing a new challenge when I joined Livingwell Homecare. In this role, I served as a driver, tasked with transporting carers to various locations to provide vital services to clients. My ability to work seamlessly within a team, combined with my commitment to punctuality and safe driving, contributed to the success of this vital service.

However, one of my most significant professional transitions occurred during my time at Stevenage Borough Council as a Caretaker from September 2022 to December 2022. In this role, I demonstrated my adaptability by taking on a role outside my previous expertise, cleaning various flats in Stevenage. It reinforced my commitment to high-quality work and dedication to fulfilling my responsibilities.

Furthermore, my tenure at CEDESA LTD in 2022, where I was involved in cutting up putty and handling machinery, showcased my versatility in adapting to different tasks.

Through these various roles, I have cultivated a remarkable set of skills that are highly transferable. My career has ingrained in me qualities such as attention to detail, adaptability, time management, and an unwavering commitment to safety. These attributes, coupled with my friendly and sociable personality, make me a well-rounded professional capable of thriving in dynamic environments and contributing positively to any team.
