• Migrating our entire finance function from Munich/Vienna/Geneva to Livingston, and building the new team roles from scratch
• People management, current team of 7, coaching and developing my team, encouraging and maintaining our team spirit
• Ensuring incoming invoices are processed within our SLA while maintaining our strict legal and audit high quality
• Regular calls with key stakeholders in DACH to maintain and/or improve our ongoing relationship, both in English and German
• Setting KPIs, reviewing monthly controls, key account management
• Working in a high-pressure, high-volume environment, requiring an awareness of monthly fluctuations in incoming work, plus the necessity to think on your feet and be flexible with very little notice, while ensuring the team is motivated and not overwhelmed
• Root cause analysis of data, identifying current and/or future trends and/or potential process weaknesses, building controls and delivering/documenting training
• Regular phone calls with internal and external audit, providing samples and leading process flow walk-through calls, ensuring that the process and controls are understood by people at different levels of seniority/experience
