About Thomas Playle:
I manage two buildings in central London consisting of offices, retail units and hotel accommodation. I have previous experience as a Facilities Coordinator and Events Specialist with Amazon, a Corporate Concierge for ISS Facility Services and 10 years in the hotel industry in a variety of properties as a member of a concierge team (including a shift leader position and an Assistant Head).
Amongst my skillset, I would include client relationship developer, organisation skills with a focus on compliance documentation, multi-contractor and contract management, dual-building management and budget creation.
At work, I'm passionate about ensuring things are done well, done fairly and with an emphasis on customer service with due care and diligence.
Outside work I have a love of photography (studies as well as competitions), am a volunteer for the Sea Cadet Corps on their Unit Management Team looking after media and PR, play the trumpet (and currently learning the bass guitar) and am a certified Advanced Open Water scuba diver with deep and wreck diving qualifications.
Experience
I began my career in the hotel industry as a concierge and have worked at three styles of hotel including a five star deluxe hotel with Four Seasons as a Senior Concierge and with a four star hotel as an Assistant Head Concierge. Since moving in to the corporate field I have held positions ranging from a Corporate Concierge for a law firm and for a consultancy firm, an Events Specialist and Facilities Coordinator for Amazon and currently now manage two buildings in central London.
Education
It has been some time since I was in formal education. However, during my career I have completed the IOSH course, multiple fire safety courses and currently hold a First Aid qualification.
