Thomas Wilson

I have recently completed an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of St Andrews, where I specialized in Deep Learning and Machine Learning. I have a strong interest in using AI to positively impact society and drive change, and I have developed and deployed sophisticated AI models to cater to various needs.

As a Frontend Developer at Next, I collaborate with a small team to create innovative webpage solutions, monitor server health, and resolve problems. I also work on the mobile application, developing new features for public use. I was promoted to this position after a successful placement year, where I demonstrated exceptional effort and high-quality output.

Currently working at Next PLC as a developer where I;

• Work on the mobile application, developing new features for public use.
• Was promoted to part-time Front-End Developer after placement mandate due to exceptional effort and high-quality output.

Completed a MSc Artificial Intelligence degree at the University of St Andrews

Notable Projects:
• Produced an explainable A.I. for genomic data analysis using Python with Keras. 
• Used Python with Pytorch to build multiple classification and regression models to solve the Automated Algorithm Selection problem.
• Built a Logic Agent for grid-based searching using deduction in Java. 
• Used Java to build a Bayesian network parser and evidence-based inference calculations.
