I am a motivated and curious student currently studying for a BA in Accounting and Finance, seeking opportunities in the financial sector. 

I have applied skills acquired at University to real business scenarios, having to negotiate, communicate and resolve issues that customers and companies have brought up under an organised and timed situation. As a result, I am motivated to deliver excellent outcomes for customers and organisations by setting up meetings and events throughout the year. I am conscientious, hardworking, and optimistic and don't shy away from challenges which will broaden my knowledge, skills and desire to support others.

• Budgets for forecast people costs / non-people costs.
• I used the Tagetik Database for budgeting and building forecast budgets.
• Month-end
  • Reviewing accruals / pre-paid costs to include at month-end and the journals.
• SAP System
  • An overview of Electricity North West's finance system in measuring actual costs vs budget.
  • Investigating all monthly costs to check they are in the correct place (where budgeted) and were booked to the right business area.
• Reporting
  • Producing Management Information (PowerPoints / Excel-based reports) & monthly and annual commentary explaining variances in budget
• Regional Meetings
  • Attending regional meetings and observing PowerPoint presentations on performance. (financial / productivity / faults / maintenance / capital) to Senior managers and Team managers
