I am an MSc Investment Management graduate from Bayes Business School with CFA Level 1 certification and over a year of experience in private equity, commodities, and securities services. 

During my tenure as a Private Equity Analyst at Vanda Capital, I demonstrated a strong ability to conduct financial and strategic analysis, performing DD on target companies, developing financial models (DCF, asset-based, comparables), and reporting portfolio reviews that informed management’s decisions. My contributions were pivotal in assessing business models, industry trends, and financial health, ultimately supporting the Deal and Strategy teams with comprehensive reports and strategic insights.

While researching for my MSc’s dissertation, I scored in the 85th percentile on my CFA Level 1 exam, highlighting my multitasking skills, along with my strong learning ability. Private Equity Analyst

• Conducted DD on 2 real estate firms, including financial and operational analyses, judgemental assessments, 3-scenario financial models, and sensitivity analyses; prepared Investment Committee decks.
• Contributed to cutting 20% costs of a portfolio through post-deal management report, analysing operational metrics, unit economics, and service mapping.
• Monitored monthly cash flow projections of funds and quarterly fund flows of active deals from Finance Team.
• Reviewed cash flow forecast and budgets of portfolio investees to prepare quarterly portfolio valuations.

Hard Commodities Analyst (worked simultaneously at investee, Saigon Futures, a commodity brokerage firm) 

• Aided in a multi-asset platform project by analysing positioning of peers, economics, and budgets; informed managements’ strategies with quarterly reports on KPIs, unit economics, variance analyses, and budget reviews.
• Secured an investment consulting deal by engaging in a 5-year Asian copper analysis and pitch deck to a client.

• Reviewed expenses, revenues, and aged debtor lists, and reconciled inventory under manager’s guidance.
