Vaughn Ambler

I'm Vaughn and I'm looking for a company to develop my creative skills and experience. This Is something I am passionate about all things media related and my life is surrounded by it! if you don't find me in the local pub or trying out new restaurants I'll be scrolling through the news or social media!

I started out life as a waiter at Elland Road and gained an opportunity at a media agency to partake in an apprenticeship. 

Working as a business admin apprentice within the agency, I had a myriad of responsibilities; from booking travel for the wider team and organising deliveries, to assisting the content team with photoshoots for our clients. Throughout my time at Hatch, I was able to gain experience across all teams which includes, Social, PR, Events, and Content. I worked closely with every employee of Hatch on a range of projects and retainers to ensure we meet clients’ needs and expectations. I gained skills in writing press releases and have successfully pitched and gained coverage in outlets like The Spirits Business, Tyla, The Sun, The Mirror, and Lad Bible to name a few. I have experience in project managing video shoots with the most notable ones being for Hisense and Leeds United in which I planned timings of arrival for both people and props needed. I also collected and compiled relevant industry news for Remington x Manchester United and used any relevant content to write a weekly newsletter. As part of my apprenticeship, I worked with our events team to create an unforgettable away day for one of our clients. I also have extensive experience in tracking coverage that we gained for our clients. Another job I was also often given was to research audiences and influencers for new business pitch decks and made sure they were presented effectively without un-needed “waffle”. My qualification provided me with a wide range of business knowledge, from managing business finances to understanding stakeholder importance. I was able to apply this knowledge directly to my day-to-day work and will be able to transfer these skills to my future position.
