Isobel Swaine

I'm a confident, conscientious and articulate young person with a keen interest in art, design and fashion. I left school in 2020 with

6 GCSEs and I started my extended diploma, Creative Practice: Art Design and Communication, later that year. I completed my Diploma in summer 2022.

I have creative flair and I am keen to develop my skills and experience following completion of my CGSEs and my extended diploma. I really enjoyed my diploma and the wider learning experience. Going to college helped to build my confidence further, and I learnt a wide range of practical skills.

Alongside my studying I have worked in the hospitality sector working at a local micro pub. This role has enhanced my experience and confidence as I work in a very busy customer focused role. This job introduced me to a range of working practices and has given me the ability to balance competing customer demands and remain calm and polite. It has also helped me to interact with a wide range of people in a busy and fast paced working environment.

I have a wide range of interests and I am particularly looking for opportunities that will provide me with experience of:

·      Team working and learning new skills in the workplace environment

·      Social media usage to promote profile and increase customer base and engagement thus increasing sales and revenue

·      Design practice and use of applications to develop and deliver branding

Wider customer interactions across a range of platforms to enhance my interpersonal skills and my ability to interact in a professional environment. 

In September of 2022 I commenced a Digital Marketing Degree with Foundation Year. I hope to gain a greater understanding of this complex fast-moving sector, understand its strategies, and the platforms it uses to reach people.
