Veronica Wood

I am a retired primary school teacher seeking part time retail work. I have experience of working on the shop floor of John Lewis in Oxford. I was initially employed as Christmas staff in the JL warehouse immediately prior to the pandemic and was invited to join the sales team because of my organisational skills, sociability, aptitude to work within team and work ethic. 

Varied career. Registered General Nurse. Primary School teacher. Established The Very Good Vending Company with husband which was sold in 2004.  In 2004 we set up Pirate Fitness, a local health club. I managed the facility until it became a charity in 2014. In 2014 I returned to teaching and  retired from teaching in 2020. 2020 I was employed at John Lewis in Oxford.  
I have considerable experience in many fields but am looking for part time retail or warehouse work. I am very fit with no disabilities.
 

I have GCSEs, A Levels, RCN, BA Hons, PGCE, Diplomas in FE and Health & Fitness. Also accountancy. I have lots of qualifications  reflecting my varied work experiences However I would be content with retail or warehouse employment.
