I am a programme/change management practitioner with experience that spans over 12 years and have worked in project environments within public and private sector organisations. With a Masters degree in Strategic Project Management as well as PRINCE2, Business Analysis and Information Security certifications, I am very experienced in setting up/re-design of programme/portfolio management offices to support and help deliver programmes of work aligned to strategic objectives. I lead PMO functions and successfully implement approaches that standardise ways of working through a programme management framework/methodology.

Experience

Proven track record of success in the delivery of significant change initiatives. In one of my previous roles as Business Improvement and Change Management Lead for an NHS organisation I led the business function in the Women and Children’s Directorate where a project was initiated to control actual spend which by far outweighed planned spend at the time. To solve this I consulted with all service leads and managers within the directorate and;

• analysed overall activity for the preceding years in the directorate to identify where there are variations in actual spend

• probed deeper into variations found and compared these with data of treatment and patient cohort to know if these where contractually agreed with commissioners of the service 

• provided a summary of what my investigation found and liaised further with the finance team for corrective action to be taken and a process to ensure this does not occur again.
