Will Foskett

I’m Will; a third year Film & Television student at the University of Bristol.
I would describe myself as a hardworking, dependable and innovative individual. My confidence is another attribute that I would pride myself on, along with my strong public speaking skills.
 

I have previously participated in part time work in a summer sports camp for children up to twelve years. This has vastly improved my communication, public speaking and commitment skills. It also has taught me the worth of working towards the betterment of the community.
In addition I worked full-time for seven months in a Specsavers store as an optical assistant prior to starting University during a gap year. This massively enhanced my communication skills with both colleagues and the public, and was a valuable time in my life which taught me the importance of responsibility - especially within such an important and crucial healthcare setting. The fast paced environment of the store informed me with brilliant time management skills and the empathy the job taught me was crucial to my attitude as a worker. The experience and vital lessons learned here prepared me very well for the same role I undertook as part time later in another Specsavers store. In my spare time I have also mentored and taken care of a child with chromosomal disorder and disabilties. This taught me how work can be rewarding and it was fulfilling to see his abilities and indepence develop and grow.
I have also worked part time in a local pub, which has refined my interpersonal skills with both the customers and my team of staff. As well as this, the job has provided me with basic bar experience.

I am currently moving onto my third year of education at the University of Bristol, where I study Film & Television.
