I’m someone who’s comfortable taking responsibility, thinking on my feet, and getting things done without needing much direction. Locum work has made me adaptable and resilient — I’m used to walking into new environments, building rapport quickly, and keeping things running smoothly under pressure.

I’m particularly interested in the human side of healthcare: how people make decisions, what gets in the way of good outcomes, and how systems can work better for both patients and professionals. That curiosity is what led me to study psychology alongside my clinical career.

I work well independently but also value being part of a team that communicates clearly and supports each other. I’m motivated by meaningful work, continuous learning, and roles where I can make a practical difference rather than just tick boxes.

I’m a locum community pharmacist with 10 years’ experience and qualified as an independent prescriber. My work has been largely patient-facing, involving clinical decision-making, clear communication, and regular liaison with GPs, nurses, prison healthcare teams, and other multidisciplinary staff.

I’ve worked across a range of settings including community pharmacy, GP practice, prison, and a dispensing hub specialising in elderly care, which has made me adaptable and confident working with diverse patient groups and systems. As a locum, I’m highly self-managed, used to organising my own travel and workloads, and able to integrate quickly into new teams.

Alongside my clinical background, I’ve recently completed an MSc in Psychology (conversion), strengthening my interest in the behavioural and psychological aspects of healthcare and patient outcomes.

I qualified as a pharmacist after completing my degree at University of Bath in 2014, and later gained my Diploma in Primary Care and Independent Prescribing qualification in 2022.

More recently, I completed an MSc in Psychology (Conversion), which has strengthened my understanding of human behaviour, mental health, and research methods, and complements my clinical background in patient-facing healthcare.
