About Zainab Hussain:

Professional Summary:

I am a hardworking and dedicated  individual who strives to work to the best of my ability. Having completed my Animal Care BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma with a Distinction this year as well as doing work experience for a whole year at Birmingham Dogs Home whilst studying at college I believe that I am ready for this job role that involves working with animals. I know that I am an organised and dependable candidate for this particular job role because I am successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude.  I have gotten amazing feedback while working at placement where I was able to work and take on multiple tasks at a time and complete them in an orderly fashion. I have also been told by my previous tutors at my college as well as from my work experience manager that I have a willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals whilst working, whether in the classroom or working hands-on with practical work.

I am known by my tutors at college to be a hardworking and passionate individual with strong organisational skills and I am eager to show that to you by working for you and your company. I am positive that I am ready for a part time job and I know that I will thrive and love to help the team to achieve company goals by working with them as I know I thrive and love to work as a team in a group environment with others to achieve goals. By having gained work experience as well as working with animals in college I believe that I am ready to take this job position.

From having gained already numerous experience with a variety of animals I know that I would be a suitable person to look after your pet and provide the utmost care for them.

I know that looking after a animal is a big responsibility in itself and that looking after another persons pet will be an even bigger challenge, however I am ready to put myself forward as a candidate to be a pet sitter as I will ensure that I provide the best care for your pet with whatever needs that they require and  that they will be able to feel at ease as I look after them with the correct care they would need to ensure that they are safe and happy in my care while you are away.

I make it my promise that whilst you are away your pet will be in safe hands and kept in the best conditions  and that when you return your pet will be happy and content to see you again while being in good shape from being looked after and cared for in the correct manner by myself.

Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue

At this Rabbit rescue I was able to attend to the Rabbit's daily needs by doing tasks such as: cleaning their hutches, providing the correct food and water that they needed to have throughout the day, making sure to provide the correct enrichment that they needed such as toys they could play with, making sure to spend enough time to socialise with them and then making sure to weigh them correctly and provide them the correct medications that they needed in the right way. I was also able to provide daily health checks in case there was something that was wrong that I did not notice with any of the Rabbits.

Education

Solihull College and University Centre- Birmingham

Attended from: September 2021 to June 2022

Course: BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma: Animal Care

After completing my courses at Barnardo’s Enterprise Centre in June 2022 I then was able to attend Solihull College and University Centre in September 2022 where I was able to study BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma in Animal Care. I was able to study this course in September 2022 and was able to complete it by the end of June 2023 and gain a Distinction grade overall.

By taking on 150 hours of work experience to complete the course as well as working with animals at the College I believe that I have what it takes for this particular job role. I know that by taking on a part time job with animals it will strengthen the knowledge that I already have and will help to improve my skills immensely.
