Escape Recruitment are supporting our client, a global manufacturing company, who are looking to hire a Health and Safety Manager to join their team.
This position will predominantly be based in the Fife area, with occasional travel to their mainland Europe site.The roleTransform the safety culture, increasing engagement and participation across all levels of the businessUnderstanding and practical experience of H&S legislation translating standards into best practice policies and proceduresCarry out audits, evaluating health and safety procedures and systems identifying areas for improvement and implementing new strategiesInvestigate incidents and accidents, identifying root cause and taking the necessary steps to prevent recurrenceWorking with managers and key business areas to update and create risk assessments, audit reviews and continuous health and safety monitoring About youHold a recognised health and safety qualification (NEBOSH or similar)Experience within a manufacturing, production or process environment within a similar role.
Leading from the front, demonstratable record of initiating safety improvements and supporting the workforceExperience of analysis of onsite incidents and corrective and preventative action plansEffective communicator with great attention to detail This role comes with a great salary, fantastic benefits and flexi-time working.
