Job Title:
Lead Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Line Engineer

Location:
Hybrid 50/50 - Central London, near Elephant & Castle

Day Rate:
£ per day to Limited company / Outside IR35


Pay frequency:
Weekly


Duration: 3-6 months initially


Start date:

ASAP

Standard hours:
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm


Requirement:

**ROLE
**We are assisting an organisation who are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer whose primary focus is to deliver technical services in a complex project environment.
There is a massive system implementation taking place, so support for pre and post go-live activities will be required.

We are able to engage with Ltd Company / Outside IR35 contractors.


TECHNOLOGY

  • Office 365 and Azure AD


  • Windows Server Platform

  • File Sharing, Print, Clustering
  • Powershell
  • Access Management utilising Active Directory Authentication, incorporated with Active Directory Federated Services.
  • Messaging incorporating Microsoft Exchange, BlackBerry Enterprise Services, and Windows In-Tune via Microsoft Azure.
  • Platform Protection control incorporating Trend Office Scan and System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) Endpoint Protection.
  • Authentication control enabled by Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure
  • Managed Service Facilitation for the delivery of enterprise level Compute, Storage, and Backup services.
  • Automation delivered by System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), and System Centre Orchestrator.
  • Presentation provided by Citrix XenApp and Terminal Services
  • Service Now as the tool to deliver Service Management Services
  • Event Management Services using Solarwinds

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrable experience operating as an Infrastructure Engineer
  • Able to understand and oversee the Service Transition of new projects into the live environment
  • Experience improving processes & procedures and knowledge of management services
  • Experience working with SLAs & KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
