    Role Summary:

    As the Director of Estates and Facilities (E&F), you will hold a crucial executive position responsible for strategically overseeing and leading the Trust's E&F services. Your role ensures that all facilities are safe, compliant, and tailored to the clinical needs of the Trust.

    Your expertise will shape the future quality of the estate, integrating best practices to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff while effectively adapting to evolving healthcare requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Offer strategic E&F leadership and management counsel to the Chief Executive and Trust Executive Management Team.
    • Lead the development and deployment of comprehensive E&F, Estates, Sustainability, Health & Safety, and Security strategies.
    • Supervise significant strategic, capital, and operational projects, including SLA/EFM contracts with partner providers.
    • Cultivate strategic alliances with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and system partners to enhance service delivery.
    • Uphold and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and national policy compliance, fostering a collaborative culture with clinical teams and service users.

    Role Requirements:

    • Hold a Master's level qualification or possess equivalent experience in a technical or E&F discipline.
    • Demonstrate leadership and strategic management experience within extensive facilities management, overseeing budgets up to £19m and 230 wte staff.
    • Exhibit a proven track record in managing diverse teams across various areas including Estates, Security, Porters, and more.
    • Possess exceptional communication and influencing skills, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
