    Our clientareseeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as aData Analytics Engineer. The ideal candidatewill possess a strongbackground in data analysis and engineering with the ability toextract valuable insights fromcomplexdatasets.

    Reporting directly to the ManagingDirector the jobholder will be responsible for the creationmaintenance and deliveryof all business MI data analysis and futuredata warehousing. They will be responsible for building andmanaging theprocesses that extract and transform the data from avariety of systems. This role is the first of its kindgiving thejobholder the opportunity to shape the future of thisarea.

    MainDuties:

    • Utilise statistical methodsand tools to analyse large datasets and extract meaningfulinsights.
    • Develop and implement data modelsalgorithms and statistical analyses to support businessdecisionmaking.
    • Interpret and communicatefindings to nontechnical stakeholders through clear and concisereports andvisualisations.
    • Design implement andmaintain databases to store and manage large volumes ofdata.
    • Optimise database performance and ensuredata integrity and security.
    • Develop andmaintain datadriven applications and tools using programminglanguages such as Python R SQL orothers asnecessary.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to understand business requirements and translate them intotechnicalsolutions.
    • Implement and optimise datapipelines for efficient data extraction transformation and loading(ETL) processes.
    • Create interactive andinformative dashboards and reports to present key insights tostakeholders using tools likePower BI.
    • Conductthorough testing and validation of data and applications to ensureaccuracy and reliability.
    • Identify and addressdata quality issues anddiscrepancies.

    ExperienceRequired:

    • Knowledge and experiencewithin credit hire or motor insurance isessential.
    • Proven experience in data analysisdatabase management and pipelinedevelopment.
    • Proficiency in programminglanguages such as Python R SQL etc.
    • Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention todetail.
    • Experience with data visualisationtools (Tableau Power BI etc.).
    • Knowledge ofstatistical methods and machine learning techniques is aplus

    Qualifications:

    • Knowledgeand experience within credit hire isessential.
    • Degree in a STEM field or relevantexperience.
