Description

We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford or Kettering campus for a Social Media Coordinator to become a key member of our Marketing department.

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Coordinating The Bedford College Group's social media channels and maintain and grow our social media presence.
  • Generating organic social media activity and coordinate the sharing of content across the Group.
  • Planning and implementing content marketing campaigns appropriate to the channel being used to increase brand awareness and engagement across the Group working with other teams to generate content to influence/ improve on targets and KPIs
  • Monitoring social media channels and respond appropriately to posts and comments, and identify issues that require escalation in line with our procedures.
  • GCSE Maths and English (grades A* to C) or equivalent
  • Educated to Level 3, such as A-Level or BTEC Extended Diploma

Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services

  • 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
  • 27 days per annum (plus public holidays), pro rata for parttime
