    Business Manager – Pharmacy

    Scotland and Northern Ireland

    Cambrian Alliance have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Business Manager covering Scotland and Northern Ireland.

    If you are a highly motivated, energetic account manager with experience of Pharmaceutical Wholesaling, selling and adding value to Independent Pharmacy, have great people skills and a track record of delivering positive results, or if you are a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician and are looking for an exciting change of career in 2024, we want to hear from you.

    As a Business Manager at Cambrian Alliance, you will have the opportunity to work for the largest independent buying group in the UK in helping over 1,000 Independent pharmacies achieve their business goals through the use of our market-leading buying platform e-CASS.

    Since forming over 20 years ago, we have continued to innovate for our customers, delivering solutions to support them to maximise their buying efficiencies and profitability across multiple wholesalers through the use of e-CASS.

    This is a permanent, field-based role covering Scotland and Northern Ireland.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer

    · Act as a custodian for the customer with the ability to build and maintain robust long-term business relationships built on trust.

    · Deliver high quality sales and customer relationship management activities through collaboration and coordination with the Directors, Head of Sales, Account Services, Marketing, IT, Finance and external third-party partners.

    · Understand the customer, their business, and their needs enabling the accurate anticipation of future customer needs and the delivery of appropriate solutions.

    · Maintain an ongoing active target list of prospects and be able to report on progress.

    · Responsible for delivering a consultative selling approach across our propositions including third-party partners propositions driving profitable sales growth for the Cambrian Alliance Group.

    · Support customers to make ongoing improvements in their business, by utilising and championing the use of the tools available via e-CASS.

    · Work in consultation with customers to support the protection of their business by maximizing purchasing margin.

    General

    · To attend regional training events/exhibitions, which include potential evening events and overnight stays.

    · Apply judgment, planning and discretion to manage, grow and recruit new customers whilst maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers.

    · Liaise with other functions and stakeholders to ensure customers receive a consistently high level of service from across the Cambrian Alliance Group.

    · Take personal responsibility for driving personal development with the support of the Head of Sales.

    · Work with the Head of Sales to deliver performance improvements identified in accompanied sales visits.

    · Timely execution of all journey plans, and administrative tasks and full utilisation of business and CRM tools.

    · Develop individual sales strategies aligning with the wider organisational priorities, identifying, and implementing new ideas that impact on your own work.

    · Report to the business those areas of concerns/new ideas identified by you whilst in call or as discussed with customers. Take responsibility for ensuring appropriate action is taken to rectify issues.
