    This is an 18 month fixed-term contract.

    We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Pearson Assessment Services team to deliver a complex assessment programme.

    The Project Managers will work with the Programme Director to scope, design, plan, monitor and deliver the programme, ensuring that all contractual obligations, milestones and financial objectives are met.

    They will have a strong focus on accuracy, quality, attention to detail and working within a PRINCE2 environment.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in working with stakeholders, sub-contractors and clients are key components of this role.

    They must be comfortable writing and reviewing project governance documents, plans and strategies and setting up new processes and ways of working.

    Plan, design, coordinate and monitor all aspects of the project.
    Manage resources, risks and issues, quality assurance and compliance standards.
    Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and clients, working collaboratively to meet project goals.
    Support effective management of project accounts and budgets.
    Follow the PRINCE2 project management methodology.
    PRINCE2 project management qualification
    A minimum of 3 years project management experience, ideally in a service environment working on multiple, complex projects (internal and external)
    Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to deliver high-quality outputs to pace and strict deadlines
    Experienced in risks/issues, change and incident management
    Strong stakeholder management, decision making and negotiation skills
    Computer literacy - advanced knowledge of Project Management software and Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    Experience working in the operational delivery of assessment or marking projects
    Experience of writing communications for different audiences (teachers, markers)
