The University of Sheffield is creating a new Safeguarding and Welfare team, launching spring 2024.

The team has responsibility for Safeguarding, Prevent, management of the Report and Support system, oversight of Sexual Violence and Misconduct cases and procedures, leadership of the Risk Assessment Panel procedure and responding to critical incidents.

The Safeguarding Administrator will play an important role in the team to provide administrative
support for the delivery of key services in the team as directed. This will include supporting both

Senior Safeguarding Officers and the Section Lead: Safeguarding with their remits by providing
effective administration skills and taking a key role in handling enquiries and information coming into the team. The post-holder will facilitate meetings as requested, including taking minutes and preparing documentation.
