Teaching Assistant required for a large mainstream primary school in High Barnet.


We are currently seeking a committed and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to start in January 2023 in one of our client schools in Barnet, North London.

Experience working with those with Special Educational Needs is desirable, however not essential.


The role of SEN Teaching Assistant is full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm), you will work within a KS2 class throughout the day supporting children, either in small groups or one to one, with their learning and their social and emotional needs.


The salary range is between £83 and £90 per day (inclusive of holiday pay).
The role of SEN Teaching Assistant will be as rewarding as it is challenging.

You will be fully supported by a highly skilled, friendly staff team however you will be expected to work on your own initiative at times to support the pupils in the best wayyou can.

  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of learning activities
  • Using individualised strategies to support students to access the curriculum
  • Promoting social and emotional development
  • Supervising students during nonclassroom time
  • Working closely with the staff team to identify any issues and develop appropriate solutions
