PAYROLL OFFICER

CENTRAL LONDON

SALARY UP TO £35,500 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE PLUS AN AMAZING BENEFITS PACKAGE, PLUS ANNUAL BONUS. ROLE IS HYBRID (3 ONSITE, 2 REMOTE)
Our client is a fast paced, rapidly expanding organisation within the technology industry. They are one of the market leaders in their field.

They now require a Payroll Officer to join their busy team.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Enter weekly & monthly time sheets accurately
  • Processing of payroll data for a high volume of contractors
  • Ensuring that all payroll amendments are administered correctly and accurately reflected in our payroll system
  • Supporting in the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payroll runs, reviewing for accuracy and following up on any amendments
  • Supporting management with high level queries and escalations
  • Support with annual audits and compliance requirements

Experience/Knowledge

  • Min of 5 years' experience within a fast paced organisation
  • Very driven and proactive
  • Background in bookkeeping desirable
  • Experience of working in a payroll department serving multisite organisations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy and varied workload
  • Able to work as a team and independently.
  • Good IT Skills (MS Office/ Excel)
  • Exceptional communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal

What company offers:

  • Hybrid work (3 onsite, 2 remote) to be agreed by the manager
  • First month/ 1.5 months to work fully from site until familiar with the company processes/ systems.

  • Salary: 32K to 36K per annum + discretionary company bonus (up to 10%)
