    Norman Broadbent PLC, a leader in executive search with an established retail and consumer practice, is delighted to be partnering with a privately owned, multi-category, multi-channel food manufacturer intent on fast, expansive growth over the next three to four years. Operating in dynamic categories with latent growth potential, they offer a different, challenging but empowering culture in which an ambitious and can-do aspiring marketing leader can truly make their mark.

    Extremely commercially savvy, they are seeking a results driven, talent marketing leader, to spearhead their overall marketing function, to own the overall strategy, drive all initiatives, work closely across their commercial functions, to support and drive the future growth ambition across the organisation.

    The function will be responsible for a broad brand portfolio, with an initial requirement to understand the different brand hierarchies across the portfolio. Possessing an agility and ability to operate at pace, they will enable the organisation across a broad base of Grocery, Specialist Trade & International customers, as well as working to supporting the expansion into Foodservice, B2B Manufacturers and beyond. Within the portfolio they see significant potential for certain brands to grow dramatically within UK grocery.

    This role will be pivotal in developing and executing strategic marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, whilst also being incredibly close to the customer, working in partnership with sales across all customers and channels, to respond at pace and capitalise on relevant opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide inspirational leadership to the marketing function, ensuring the team are fully engaged, with the right people in the right roles.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
    • Collaborate and work at pace with product development and sales, to identify and thereafter execute against NPD opportunities, optimising existing product offerings as they are able.
    • Develop brand specific plans across the portfolio, creating a relevant brand hierarchy, leveraging the role each brand can play within the future ambition of the business.
    • Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders, including retailers, distributors and industry associations, to amplify brand presence and drive sales growth.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with demonstrable experience developing a career across FMCG
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
    • Highly organized and detailed orientated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
