• Assisting the Tax Director.
• Helping to mentor junior staff members.
• Managing a mixed portfolio of clients (HNW individuals, investment property owners, company directors and sole traders for example).
• Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns. Submitting the Tax Returns to the clients for approval and finally submitting the forms electronically to HMRC.
• Speaking to / meeting / corresponding with clients.
• Preparing CGT Computations.
• Assisting clients in setting up CGT on UK Property Service Accounts and submitting the Returns.
• Preparing Property Rental Accounts, and Income and Expenditure Accounts for Sole Traders.
• Preparing P11Ds.
• Completing and submitting simple VAT Returns to HMRC.
• Completing and submitting ATED Returns to HMRC.
• Preparing simple Trust Tax Returns
• Assisting clients in setting up the HMRC Trust Registration Service Accounts and maintaining the Registers.
• Exposure to IHT and Estate planning.

• Preferably ATT qualified, but a CTA would be considered.
• Must be able to manage your own portfolio to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal
• Good IT skills. Experience of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential, and CCH tax software would be desirable but not essential as any training required would be provided.
