A recent team restructure has brought about a brand new position as Marketing Technology Manager within a global MarTech agency.

This position can be remote or hybrid and will suit a proactive, data and insight driven marketing manager.
The experience we need.
This role could suit a technical marketing manager looking to step up, or an established MarTech consultant.

  • Marketing Technology background, ideally within data consumer marketing
  • Expertise focusing on Data management, CRM, Marketing analytics, ecommerce and customer experience (CX)
  • Knowledge of Marketing Campaign tools (such as Alterian Campaign, Apteco FastStats) would be beneficial
  • Experience working within an endtoend software development or product delivery lifecycle
  • Experience working with customer data platforms or single customer views
  • Experience conducting marketing technology SWOT / gap analysis exercises, gathering business requirements to justify a particular piece of software and driving an adoption roadmap.
  • Experience with leading a team or function including direct line management, conducting 121's, appraisals and performance management.
The role.

The Marketing Technology Manager operates within the Solutions department, an area of the business responsible for the innovation, implementation, ongoing optimisation, and maintenance of customer data platforms and marketing technology solutions.

You willinitially manage a team of 2, but there will be scope to grow this down the line.

The primary purpose of the role is to own, lead and champion marketing technology for the business and clients, operating as a technologist, consultant and manager for the marketing technology team.

You will make this role your own and use the existing toolsand capabilities, but also uncover gaps in technical offerings and build a roadmap to deliver internal and external solutions.

This role has been created as part of a wider transformation programme and therefore we'll be looking for someone who can define and implement an appropriate MarTech strategy and framework.

The role will also see the individual actively involved with day-to-dayclient activities working alongside others such as development, test, digital, project management, planning, analysis and commercial management.
