- As a Year 5Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of childrentaking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamwork andcultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
- Teaching theKey Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing oneach individual childs learning targets encouraging their strengthsand improving theirweaknesses
- Furtherdeveloping maths ability and introducing fractions statistics andgeometry
- Help childrendevelop their writing ability by creating plots characters andsettings forstories.
- Keeping track ofchildrens progress and occasionally reporting back toparents
- Create a positivelearning environment that is both safe and conducive forlearning
- Collaborate withschool management teaching staff and parents to provide qualityacademic support for Year 5students.
- Bachelorsdegree or above in Education or relatedfield.
- Teaching qualification andQTS.
- At least 2 years of experience in teachingYear 5 students.
- Strong communicationinterpersonal and organizationalskills.
- Passion for working with children and acommitment to providing highqualityeducation.
- Ability to create and presentengaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Abilityto work collaboratively with other teachers and schoolstaff.
