Provide and effective and efficient food service within the wards, departments and restaurant, ensuring the highest food safety standards at all times to patients, staff and visitors of the Trust.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Observe and adhere to the Trust and Departmental policies, procedures and Standing Financial
  • To carry out basic food preparation to include packing, labelling, displaying and chilling of sandwiches and other food
  • Serve meals within the agreed standards for portion control and
  • Wear the correct uniform at all times observing personal hygiene standards. Do not wear your uniform out of
  • Clean, prepare and stock display counters as per daily
  • Clean equipment and furniture in accordance with cleaning schedules using correct methods and wearing personal protective equipment as
  • Deal effectively courteously and promptly with general enquiries directing unresolved issues to the Restaurant Services
  • Complete routine documentation as directed, in line with the department's Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points
