Description

Our client are looking for a QS or SQS with strong commercial background working for private practise / consultancy and will have project exposure across the Residential, Heritage & Conservation, Healthcare, Education or Commercial sectors.

As a PQS, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates and quantity surveying services for construction projects.

Your expertise in cost management and procurement will contribute to the successful completion of projects within budgetary constraints.

Analyse project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost control strategies
• Review subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular reports to stakeholders
