- Definition and ongoing development of the whole Electrical CAD package for use across the Group.
- Definition of business processes to enable efficient use of the toolchain.
- Integration of the Electrical CAD package with Teamcenter and NX.
- Creation and delivery of training material for Electrical CAD package and associated tools.
- Managing the day-to-day issues as they arise ensuring prompt investigation and closure.
- Managing the associated applications that are utilised as part of the design process.
- Support of Electrical database administration.
- Technical process support including leading the digitisation of machine audits/assessments.
- Develop a close working relationship with our Electrical CAD vendor to continually develop the toolchain.
- Educated to a minimum HND level in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
- Extensive experience in a wiring harness development environment for Tier 1 harness manufacturer or machine manufacturer.
- Application support and development experience in Zuken E3, Capital Harness or Arcadia tool suites.
- Self-motivated and capable of working well both alone and as a member of a team.
- Experience in automotive or off highway electrical systems.
- A team player with a "hands on" approach to problem solving. You will operate and manage within a team and under your own initiative, interpreting specifications and contributing to technical discussions.
- Proven track record of multiple simultaneous project deliveries.
