    Description

    Aspire People are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants for short term and long term supply work, to work within a school set in the beautiful countryside of Nottinghamshire.

    Are you passionate about making a difference and supporting children who find it difficult to achieve in mainstream environments, where their emotional and development needs cannot be met?

    Do you like to work outdoors?

    Are you in touch with therapeutic support through animals?


    We have some fantastic opportunities to join a school that is set over two farm sites, where they enable young people to learn indoors as well as the outdoor environment.

    You will be working with livestock, in woodlands and will encourage an enhanced learning experience


    Successful applicants must have:

    • Relevant experience of working with children or within a care background
    • Teaching Assistant qualification (planning / currently completing this) desirable
    • Must be a car driver due to the location of the schools
    • Be comfortable and prepared to work outside all year round
    • Willing to undertake a DBS through Aspire People or be on the update service
    • Minimum of 2 satisfactory and recent references
    • Right to work in the UK is required
