Grade - Building 3
4 on (2 days 2 nights) 4 off then 5 on (3 days 2 nights) 5-day break the 5 no (2 days 3 nights) then 5 days off then back to 4 on - salary is £26,152.75 plus shift £6,946.32 with this shift pattern they accrue Holidays and is an annual shut down.
To work as a
Grade 2 Operator within a team of Process Operators in a Chemical Manufacturing Plant to safely achieve defined quality standards, within time and to customers specifications.
This includes Routine Operations, Complete Mandatory Training, Operating Process Equipment and Machinery to be an active part of the production team.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Production Management
n Carryout operator tasks and duties as and when required including safe operation of all process plant equipment
n Following batch cards ensuring that each sequential step is completed, all data is accurately documented and periodically review completed data entries.
n Understanding of BMS Risk Assessments & Method Statements
n Operate Process and Manufacturing Equipment to ensure production of batches are produced safely and in a timely manner
n Discharging and packing of Final product (Hazardous and Non-Hazardous) in accordance with instructions/Batch card requirements
n Assist in the training of Apprentice, TPO and Grade 3 Operators.
n Adhering to all Policies, Procedures and Legal Legislations
SHEQ Management
n Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety requirements are met including (but not limited to) Workplace Organisation Site Procedures and Policies, Work Instructions, Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), High Housekeeping Standards, Risk/COSHH Assessments and Operating within the Process, HSE, and Legal requirements.
Equipment Management
n Carryout operator tasks and duties as and when required including safe operation of all process plant equipment.
Team Building & Incentive
n Undertake any other duties of which the responsibility, skill and experience required fall within the Trainee Process Operator competence and capability
n To effectively carry out learning the roles and responsibilities of a Process Operator.
This includes Routine Operations, Complete Mandatory Training, Operating Process Equipment and Machinery to be an active part of the production team.
Communication
n Communicate and coordinated with production related departments
n Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals is essential
n To demonstrate effective Communication (Listening and Speaking)
Confidentiality
n Follow Corp. TSP regulations to maintain confidential on sensitive information
