Description

The role of Transport Planning Supervisor will involve:

  • Managing a team of planners.
  • Contingency and strategic planning
  • Manage daily planning activity.
  • Ensure all plans adhere to and comply with driver's hours legislation.
  • Deliver through the planning team daily schedules.
  • Support the execution of continuous improvement.

Profile

The successful Transport Planning Supervisor will have:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent transport planning experience.
  • Significant understanding of WTD and driver's hours legislation.
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A strong background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
