The role:
We are currently looking to recruit an
experienced CNC Machinist who can work as an individual or as part of team,
Programming CNC milling machines referencing the detail drawing.
You will be a key member of the machine shop team, and will actively be involved in the creating, editing, and proving out of CNC programmes as well as manufacturing and self-inspection of quality components individually or as part of an assembly.
Applicants preferably within close travelling distance to Burbage, Hinckley.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- To set and operate CNC machine Tools.
- To work to tight tolerances and check own work.
- To work, following training, to customer drawings and specifications
- To work with minimum supervision
Role Requirements:
- The role is based at our Hinckley production facility.
- You must be able to able to Program, set and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts correct to drawing.
- You must be able to read and understand Engineering Drawing Geometrical Requirements.
- Experience of using Deckel Maho DMF 260/11 with Heidenhain iTNC 530 control preferred.
- Mazatrol experience preferable.
- 5 Axis experience is preferred but 3 axis experience will also be considered.
- Must have skill in using precision measuring tools, micrometers, verniers, depth gauges, plug gauges etc.
- Toolmaker attributes to compliment our manufacture of bespoke jigs and fixturing.
- Must have the personality to work as part of a small team.
- Selfmotivated to treat each job as a challenge to produce a quality component.
- Access to own transport.

Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 7.30am 4.30pm
- Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
