- Perform routine service, preventive maintenance, and repairs on vending machines located in the West Midlands and surrounding area.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to vending machine malfunctions, such as coin mechanism problems, refrigeration system faults, electrical faults, and general mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including machine performance, repairs conducted, parts replaced, and any other relevant information using the company's bespoke systems and tools.
- Communicate with internal service desk and complete all calls via our bespoke systems.
- Responsible for the efficient storage and timely re-ordering of standard spares stock. Complete all necessary paperwork (parts requisition book).
- Make recommendations/suggestions where parts used frequently are not on standard spares lists.
- To highlight own training needs and attend any training courses arranged by the company.
- To adopt a flexible approach to tasks in line with changing company needs and priorities for the service department.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while working on vending machines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a safe working environment.
- Have a minimum of 2 years vending experience or similar; technical, mechanical,or electrical.
- Display a flexible attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be confident and professional in front of customers.
- Be able to regularly work on your own as well as being a strong team player.
- To be physically capable for the requirements of the job – some occasional heavy lifting (up to 25kg).
- A full driving licence and be confident driving long distances.
- To be reasonably confident with technology – IT skills.
- Full manufacturer training will be provided
- Paid overtime/time off in lieu
