- Seek, develop and secure new opportunities
- Plan personal sales activity effectively with regular contact via telephone, email and face to face communication.
- Establish and plan key accounts.
- Actively promoting the brand and always provide exceptional customer service.
- Self-generate appointments to maximise revenue.
- Provide advice and guidance to resolve queries and objections and ensure follow up and resolutions are delivered.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide solutions to their issues.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player
- Manage new accounts in your business base, ideally with the aim of becoming the sole supplier.
- European Road Freight experience essential
- Knowledge of Import and Export procedures
- Experience in negotiating rates with clients
- Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary as is the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- To be a self starter and hit the ground running
