    £50,000 - £60,000 + benefitsLocation: London (hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days remote) The CompanyAn industry changing VC backed FinTech disrupting the B2B credit lending space by funding the global startup and scaleup community by helping them split their invoices over 12 months at 0% interest. Your RoleYou will join the team as Credit Risk Analyst, responsible for developing and owning a variety of positions across risk, including collections, underwriting, portfolio analysis, reporting, fraud and strategy. The role will be naturally fluid as the business grows. Whilst there are key areas you will be focused on, this is a chance to join a business that is in their early stages of its development. This gives the opportunity for someone to come in and influence how the company operates and delivers the best possible solutions, with the aim that the successful candidate will develop to potentially lead an area of risk as the business grows. Key Responsibilities Able to assist the underwriting team during busy periodsHelp to manage the collections strategy Monitor the performance of the live portfolioLead the QA of credit and operational processes to help establish a robust credit risk framework.

    Credit Risk Underwriting Experience:
    Proven ability to assess commercial loan applications, with a strong focus on analysing financial statements to identify and mitigate risk

    SME Credit Expertise:
    Be able to demonstrate experience in SME lending, staying current on legal, compliance, and market risk factors to ensure sound lending practices

    Communication Skills:
    Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners

    An Analytical Thinker:
    Combine strong commercial acumen with sharp analytical skills. You have a critical eye for detail, delivering accurate results while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Startup/Small Team Experience:

    Proven ability to prioritise effectively and manage your workload in a fast-paced, startup environmentHave a rounded experience in a variety of risk-related roles and be able to apply this knowledge to a wide range of positions.

    Be able to work independently, identify priorities rapidly and allocate their time accordingly.
    Have experience in business credit underwriting, ideally in SME B2B space and underwriting alternative financial products.

    Central to the collections aspect of the role, the candidate must also have experience in communicating, negotiate with customers and work with external collection agencies in order to settle outstanding arrears and optimise recoveries.

    The individual would be self-motivated to deliver solutions independently and able to work as part of the core team to deliver a range of innovative products in the pipeline.
