    We are seeking an experienced Peripatetic Home Manager to support our 12 Care Homes across the Highlands and Aberdeenshire.

    Based in the Highlands and Aberdeenshire, this position allows the successful candidate to bring their skills to the Meallmore team across all our services. This is an exciting role where variety is key – you will be working in numerous care home, taking on various roles including management support, project management, quality improvement and registered manager where required. You will be working to support, coach and mentor others to deliver the highest standards of care in line with our Company Values.

    Our company has been in operation for 30 years and continues to support residents and staff to ensure our care homes are of the highest quality, making them excellent places to live and to work. We offer support to elderly residents and those with dementia, providing exceptional facilities to ensure their stay is a comfortable and homely experience. In addition, we operate mental health services for those under 65 with enduring needs focusing on recovery and promoting independence.

    What will we need from you?

  • You will already have experience working in a Care Home Manager role, preferably for 3+ years, and be a NMC Registered Nurse.
  • You should also hold the qualification of a SVQ 4 Leadership and Management in Care Award or be willing to work towards it.
  • Extensive experience in the care industry is desirable, especially with elderly and dementia residents, with a proven track record of delivering quality standards
  • You will be able to implement and sustain management standards within the region, such as cover for Home Managers on maternity leave or sick leave, and support homes that may not have a substantive Home Manger in post.
  • You will be motivated to continuously engage and empower staff to drive performance to reflect Care Inspectorate Grades.
  • You will be able to provide leadership and direction and be able to use your initiative to make improvements
  • You will be an individual who thrives in a busy environment, embraces change and can adapt to new situations regularly.
