    Matcham's is our in-house catering team here at Harrogate Convention Centre. We pride ourselves on quality produce and impeccable service and focus on supporting local suppliers and producers from the North of England, Yorkshire, and Harrogate. We cater to a variety of events and provide a range of services from a simple tea and coffee service to full-blown celebratory banquets.

    The role

    As our Catering Sales Planner, you will drive sales through good client relations and knowledge of the catering offer. You will drive additional sales to ensure that we maximise our opportunities for all events. You will play a key role assisting with the implementation of a new online ordering portal and use this portal for driving additional revenue streams, maintain contact with clients and respond to clients communications within an appropriate timeframe. You will work with the Catering Management Team to review our offer and propose new ideas for improvement and additionally, maintain strong interdepartmental relationships to ensure that the catering proposal works in line with clients requirements from the perspective of other departments within HCC

    What you will bring.

    To be successful you will have knowledge of Catering Operations, have experience and be confident in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, be organised and able to demonstrate effective time-management, have experience in using Microsoft Office applications and be able to communicate effectively in both verbally and in writing
